Pro Media Coach, is a video production and media training company founded by television pro’s.

Video Production: We know how to make great videos that people want to watch. We know you don’t have all day, so we work quickly and efficiently to deliver projects on time and within budget. We will help you with every level of production, from original conception through duplication. We can help you write, produce, shoot and edit your projects. We also have access to a pool of on-camera professionals. We love what we do, so working on projects with us is fun. We want to be your production house. Let us know how we can help.

Media Training: Great television personalities are not born, they are made.
Today’s mega-stars got to the top by honing their craft on-air for years before hitting the big time.

With years of experience as producers, shooters and editors in the radio & television business, we have seen it all. We have worked with the best of the best and the worst of the worst. What is the difference between the two? It’s experience and know-how; our on camera media training can get you started with both. Whether you are a novice or have years of experience in front of the camera, our training programs are designed to take you to the next level.

We are skilled at assessing clients’ on camera strengths and weaknesses quickly. We work to play up the strengths, and watch as the weaknesses fade or disappear altogether. Our goal is to help our clients be so comfortable in the production setting that their authentic personality can shine through. We also provide follow-up after television appearances.

Our media training is focused on preparing clients for every aspect of the production setting. We deal with your message, your body language, hair and makeup. We set up a broadcast style environment, complete with distractions, to help prepare you for life in the real media world.
Then we practice, practice, practice, until you feel natural and comfortable in front of the camera…whether it’s live or taped, solo or in a group, inside or outside.

Our Media Training Focuses on:

- Connecting with the Camera
- Memorable Messages: What to Say and How to Say It
- Handling Hostility
- Staying Positive and Powerful
- Taking Interviews Where You Want them to Go

We also train clients for specialized on camera demonstrations for Cooking, Gardening, and Do It Yourself and Medical segments.
And check out our Athletes page for more on our programs for professional athletes.

Jane at CBS Sunday Morning shoot about Pro Media Coach

Video Director

Jane Lurie is an EMMY Award winning editor and cameraperson with 27 years experience on both coasts. Jane spent almost a decade as a camera person at WCBS in New York, where she worked with reporters Brian Williams, Lester Holt and Meredith Viera, among many others. During her time there she shot breaking news and features on and around the streets of New York City. Her job also took her to the Oscars in LA, and the NCAA quarter finals in Salt Lake City. Her favorite interview was with Lily Tomlin. During those years she received awards from UPI and AP. She’s especially skilled in helping on-air personalities connect with their audience through the camera.

During Jane's 16 years at KRON in San Francisco, she won EMMY and an RTNDA awards for her editing. She was known for turning out beautifully edited pieces while maintaining a great attitude under intense deadline pressure. Her projects literally spanned the globe. She worked on documentaries about Iraq, series about medical issues, and virtually every kind of feature that a major market local news station turns out. Her most memorable piece at KRON was a documentary about Itzhak Perlman’s summer music program in China, which was shown at Carnegie Hall after it aired on TV.

Jane has worked on a number of corporate projects since leaving television. Her clients include Clorox, BARRA Inc., Berkeley Heart Lab and The San Jose Mercury News.
